EUNHAE M. GOHNG (Of Counsel)
Ms. Gohng manages Immigration Law practice at Sung & Hwang LLP. She provides consultations to both corporate and individual clients on a wide range of immigration issues, including non-immigrant visas, immigrant visas (employment-based and family-based), adjustment of status, change / extension of status, naturalization, consular processing, requests for evidence (RFE), and notices of intent to deny / revoke (NOID/NOIR) from the USCIS.
During law school, Ms. Gohng worked as a Law Clerk at a litigation firm in Washington D.C. She was also a student attorney in the International Human Rights Law Clinic, where she assisted asylees from various countries. After graduating from law school, Ms. Gohng worked at an immigration law firm in Virginia as an Associate.
Prior to joining Sung & Hwang LLP, Ms. Gohng worked at Murthy Law Firm, one of the premier U.S. immigration law firms in the country, as a Supervising Attorney for over 5 years, where she handled a variety of employment and family-based immigration cases, nonimmigrant visa cases, and naturalization cases. At Murthy, she actively participated in a number Committees, including Teleconference Committee, Pod Cast Committee, and Ethics Committee. She was deeply involved in the preparation of monthly Teleconferences and Podcasts on various current immigration issues.
Ms. Gohng is particularly experienced in representing corporate clients, handling the companies' specific immigration needs in employing foreign workers as well as providing general guidance on immigration law matters including most up-to-date immigration issues.
Ms. Gohng is Member of American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She is fluent in English and Korean.
